Extension Centre to Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra

With a view to fulfilling the aspiration of the students for quality technical education, the institute established its Extension Centre at Lalpur, Ranchi, about 15 km from our residential campus at Mesra in 1984.

Later other such extension centres have been established Naini (Allahabad), Kolkata, Noida, Jaipur and Patna.

These centres offer academic programmes in engineering & Technology, Computer Application, Business Management and Marine Engineering.

All the extension centres function under the full academic and administrative control of the present university.

6. Noida Extension Centre
   
   BIT started the Extension Centre in Noida 1998 with the BCA course. At present, the Noida Extension Centre has over 900 students on its rolls, of which over 300 are postgraduate students.
